Episode #01. Two Swords

"If the Mountain killed my sister, your father gave the order. Tell your father I'm here. And tell him the Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay their debts."

"Mountain이 누님을 죽였다면 그건 당신 아버지 지시였을 거요. 가서 아버지에게 내가 왔다고 전하시오. 빚지고 못 사는 건 Lannister 가문만이 아니라고."

"You're a talker. Listening to talkers makes me thirsty. Ah, And hungry. Think I'll take two chickens."

"말이 참 많군. 말 많은 인간이랑 있으면 목이 마르단 말이야. 아, 배도 고프니 닭 두 마리는 먹어야겠어."

"You don't seem to understand the situation."

"상황 파악이 잘 안 되나 보군."

"I understand that if any more words come pouring out of your cunt mouth, I'm gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room."

"네 그 더러운 입에서 한 마디라도 더 나오면, 여기 있는 닭고기를 전부 먹어 치워 주지."

"You lived your life for the king. You're gonna die for some chickens?"

Episode #02. The Lion and the Rose

"It's like you said, I am yours and you are mine."

"난 당신 거고, 당신은 내 거예요."

"You're a whore! Sansa is fit to bear my children and you are not. I can't be in love with a whore. I can't have children with a whore. How many men have you been with? 500? 5,000?"

"I have enjoyed my time with all of them and I have enjoyed my time with you most of all. But now that time is over. You'll have a comfortable life in Pentos. Bronn will escort you to your ship."

"셀 수도 없이 많이 만났고 그중에서 너하고 가장 많이 즐겼지만 이제 그런 시절은 끝났어. Pentos에서 편히 지내. Bronn이 배까지 안내할 거야."

Episode #03. Breaker of Chains

"I will not have you dying on my behalf. Do you hear me? If I have to take that long walk to the executioner's block, I don't want to see your head already mounted."

"나 때문에 네가 죽게 할 수는 없다. 알겠나? 처형대에 오르게 된다 해도, 네 목이 잘려있는 걸 보고 싶지 않다."

"My lord.."

"나리.."

"Pod, I am giving you an order. Go and find my brother. Tell him I need him. And get yourself out of King's Landing before it's too late. Pod! This is farewell."

"Pod, 이건 명령이다. 가서 형에게 날 도와달라고 말해라. 그리고 늦기 전에 King's Landing에서 도망쳐라. Pod! 이걸로 작별이다."

"Farewell, my lord."

"안녕히 계십시오."

"Pod. There has never lived a more loyal squire."

"Pod. 너만큼 충성스러운 종자는 없을 것이다."

Episode #04. Oathkeeper

"There are three slaves in this city for every marster. No one can give you your freedom, brothers. If you want it, you must take it."

"이 도시에는 주인들보다 노예가 세 배 많습니다. 자유는 누가 찾아 주는 게 아닙니다. 자유를 원한다면 쟁취해야 합니다."

Episode #05. First of His Name

"The first Lords of the Vale didn't have much, but they had these mountains and they knew how to use them. And the fortress they built here has never been overcome. Not once in 1,000 years. Know your strengths, use them wisely, and one man can be worth 10,000."

Episode #06. The Laws of Gods and Men

"Have you nothing to say in your defense?"

"자기 변론할 말은 없는가?"

"Nothing but this.. I did not do it. I did not kill Joffrey, but I wish that I had. Watching your vicious bastard die gave me more relief than 1,000 lying whores. I wish I was the monster you think I am. I wish I had enough poison for the whole pack of you. I would gladly give my life to watch you all swallow it."

"할 말은 이것뿐입니다. 전 하지 않았습니다. 전 Joffrey를 죽이지 않았습니다! 하지만 제가 죽였다면 차라리 좋았을 겁니다. 너의 악독한 사생아 놈이 죽는 걸 보는 건 창녀 천 명이 누워있는 걸 보는 것보다 즐겁더군. 나도 내가 당신들이 생각하는 괴물이었으면 좋겠어. 당신들을 모두 죽일 만큼의 독이 있었으면 좋겠어. 네놈들이 그걸 삼키는 것을 볼 수 있다면 기꺼이 내 목숨도 내놓지."

Episode #07. Mockingbird

"I will begin with Ser Gregor Clegane, who killed my sister's children and then raped her with their blood still on his hands before killing her, too. I will be your champion."

"시작은 Gregor Clegane 경이오, 내 조카들을 죽이고 그 피 묻은 손으로 누이를 겁탈하고 누이까지 죽인 놈. 내가 당신의 결투대행자가 되겠소."

Episode #08. The Mountain and the Viper

"If the masters never cut me, I never am Unsullied. I never stand in the Plaza of Pride when Daenerys Stormborn orders us to kill the masters. I never am chosen to lead the Unsullied. I never meet Missandei from the island of Naath. I am sorry I.. for today. I am sorry."

"그들이 제 그곳을 자르지 않았다면 전 무결병이 되지 못했을 거고 명예의 광장에도 서지 못했을 겁니다. Daenerys 여왕님의 명으로 그들을 죽이지도 못했을 것이고 무결병 지휘관으로 임명되지도 못했을 겁니다. 그리고 Naath 섬 출신의 Missandei도 못 만났을 겁니다. 오늘 일은.. 미안합니다."

"Grey Worm, I'm glad you saw me.

"Grey Worm, 날 봐줘서 기뻤어요."

Episode #09. The Watchers on the Wall

"Night gathers and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crown and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch for this night and all the nights to come!"

"밤이 길어지매 내 경계가 시작되니 나 죽는 날까지 끝나지 않으리라. 아내를 취하지 않고 땅을 취하지 않으며 자녀도 갖지 않으리. 그 어떤 왕관도 영광도 탐내지 아니하며 내 초소에서 살고 죽으리. 난 어둠 속의 검이요. 장벽의 감시자요. 왕국의 백성을 보호하는 방패로다. 내 삶과 명예를 Night's Watch에 바치니 이 밤부터 다가올 밤까지 영원히 계속되리라!"

Episode #10. The Children

"I didn't want anyone to die for me."

"저 때문에 누가 죽는 건 원치 않았어요."

"He died so you could find what you have lost."

"네가 잃어버린 것을 찾게 해 주려고 죽은 거다."

"You're going to help me walk again?"

"다시 걷게 해 주실 건가요?"

"You will never walk again. But you will fly."

"넌 다시 걸을 수 없다. 하지만 날게 될 것이다."

"Come with me, Arya. I'll take you to safety."

"나랑 같이 가자, Arya. 안전한 곳으로 데려다주마."

"Safety? Where the fuck's that? Her aunt in the Eyrie is dead. Her mother's dead. Her father's dead. Her brother's dead. Winterfell is a pile of rubble. There is no safety, you dumb bitch. You don't know that by now, you're the wrong one to watch over her."

"안전한 곳? 그게 어디지? Eyrie의 이모도 죽었고 엄마도, 아빠도, 오라비도 죽었고 Winterfell도 폐허로 변한 마당에 안전한 곳은 없다, 멍청한 년아. 아직도 그걸 모른다면 저 애를 지킬 자격은 없다."

"And that's what you're doing? Watching over her?"

"그래서 지금 당신이 그녀를 지키고 있단 건가?"

"Aye, that's what I'm doing."

"그러는 중이지."

시즌 3의 후반 내용이 나름 충격적으로 각인되었던 만큼 다음 시즌에서 이어지는 내용들이 궁금해져서 시간이 날 때마다 시즌 4도 한 편씩 찾아보게 되었다. 비중 있는 주요 인물들이 많은 드라마라 보는 와중에도 기억이 가물가물해서 누구인지 찾아보기도 하고 내용을 담아내느라 시간이 더 많이 걸리긴 했지만 역시나 아깝지 않은 시간이었다. 이번 시즌에서도 'Castle Black' 전투를 비롯해 충격적인 장면과 명장면들이 있었지만, 특히나 'Arya'와 'The Hound'라 불리는 'Sandor'의 케미가 돋보이는 장면들이 기억에 남을 만큼 재미있었다.('Dragon Ball'의 '피콜로'와 '손오반'이라 불리기도..)

드라마를 계속 봐오면서 이제는 주요 인물들이 나름대로 익숙해졌기에 점점 더 재미를 붙이게 되는지도 모르겠지만 이어질 내용들도 나의 기대를 저버리지 않았으면 하는 바람이다.
